People living or visiting along the Front Range were able to take advantage of the warm temperatures today as thermometers were expected to climb to 90 degrees.
“Temperatures start to get hot in the middle and end of June,” said meteorologist Jim Kalina with the National Weather Service.
The weather will remain relatively warm through Sunday, with an expected high of 86 degrees, but will start to cool a bit during the week.
On Monday, a mild storm front will result in rain showers and thunderstorms. Tuesday, there may be areas of fog and drizzle before noon and a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms and temperatures are expected to reach a high near 83.
Temperatures will remain in the low-70s to mid-80s through Friday, weather forecasters predict.
