A wildland fire in southeastern Colorado has grown to 45,800 acres, and firefighters have it 55 percent contained.
The Bridger Fire started at the Army’s Piñon Canyon Maneuver Site last Tuesday in the Red Rock Canyon area, about 35 miles inside the north rim of the training grounds in Las Animas County.
