Denver police are looking for a man who tried to lure an 11-year-old-girl into a car – but not before she took his picture.

The girl met the man, who spoke broken English, at James A. Bible Park at South Quebec Street and Yale Avenue on Sunday.

She took his picture then walked with him to his vehicle. Before reaching the car, the girl ran away.

The victim described the man as being in his 30s, 5 feet 8 inches tall and thin. She saw a grey vehicle in the area but wasn’t sure if it belonged to the man.

Anyone with information about the identity of this individual is asked to contact the Denver Police Department at (720)913-2000 or through Crime Stoppers, 720-913-STOP (7867).
