IBM’s Boulder campus is set to unveil today a new “green” data center. The facility is 115,000 square feet and, when added to existing data-center space, makes Boulder home to IBM’s largest data facility in the world.

The center contains more efficient cooling mechanisms and regulators, in an effort to reduce energy usage. The facility is part of IBM’s $350 million investment in the Boulder campus, which is part of the company’s $1 billion “Big Green” initiative nationwide.
