A motorcyclist died after he was thrown from his bike when it collided with a raised concrete curb near Littleton early this morning.
Mitchell Marsolek, 24, of Lakewood, was taken to Swedish Medical Center after the wreck at 2 a.m. on Holland Way and Maplewood Place. He was pronounced dead at the hospital at 2:35 a.m.
Alcohol and speed are considered possible factors in the accident.
Marsolek was riding a 2007 black Suzuki GSX 1300R when the motorcycle collided with the curb. Marsolek was thrown and ran into multiple objects, according to the Colorado State Patrol.
The crash remains under investigation.
