One person was killed and five others were hospitalized last night after a car carrying three people broadsided another car also carrying three.
A female passenger from one of the cars was killed at about 9:10 p.m. at the intersection of South Havana Street and East Florida Avenue.
A green 1993 Honda Accord with three males was going south on South Havana Street when it slammed into a northbound maroon 2000 Toyota Corolla with three females that turned left in front of the Honda.
The names and ages of the accident victims have not been released pending notification of family members.
The accident is under investigation.
