After several weeks of party honcho Dick Wadhams doing triple duty as party chairman, spokesman and campaign manager for Senate candidate Bob Schaffer, the party announced Thursday it has hired Randy Hildreth as its communications director.
Hildreth had been the spokesman for Republicans in the state House of Representatives this past legislative session.
The party also announced that it has hired two regional field directors. Dan Cutts will work in Denver, Adams and Arapahoe counties, while Ben Engen will work in Jefferson, Boulder, Weld, Larimer, Park, Clear Creek and Gilpin counties.
