KREMMLING, Colo.—Authorities in Summit County said they’ve found the body of a man missing in Green Mountain Reservoir.
Rescuers had been searching for 24-year-old Heraldo Almeida since Saturday evening.
He went missing after stopping by for a swim with two friends. They had just finished participating in a fishing derby in nearby Kremmling.
Summit County’s dive and rescue team searched until midnight and then resumed their search Sunday morning.
Almeida was found 80 feet from the shore in water 12-feet deep. Authorities said it appears to be an accidental drowning.
