DENVER—Denver Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony has been selected to the U.S. Olympic basketball team, along with MVP Kobe Bryant, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade.
The U.S. team was announced Monday.
This will be Anthony’s second straight trip to the Olympics. He was a member of the U.S. squad that won the bronze medal in Athens in 2004.
The announcement came just a day before Anthony is to enter a plea in a DUI case against him. He was arrested in April in Denver.
