NEW YORK — Two top executives at Lehman Brothers, chief executive Richard Fuld and chief operating officer Bart McDade, will give up their 2008 bonuses after the investment bank posted its first quarterly loss since going public in 1994, two people familiar with the decision said Friday.
Fuld made the decision after the nation’s fourth-largest investment bank reported that it lost nearly $3 billion for its second quarter, according to people inside the investment bank.
