About 3,000 cyclists will power 75 miles from Westminster to Fort Collins on Saturday to raise money for the fight against multiple sclerosis.
The Great-West Life Bike MS, the state’s oldest nonprofit ride, is expected to raise $2.9 million for programs that will help 70,000 Colorado residents who suffer from multiple sclerosis, according to a news release.
The first wave of cyclists will leave Front Range Community College at 6 a.m. The riders will pedal to Colorado State University, where they will listen to live music and stay over night. On Sunday, they’ll ride back to Westminster.
