BOZEMAN, Mont.—Team Nike has won the Primal Quest Montana endurance race.

Primal Quest spokesman Kraig Becker says the team finished the race Saturday night, about five days and 11 hours after they began the 500-mile event Monday.

The cross-country race began with 58 teams, each with four people. By Friday, 46 remained in the official competition. Seven had withdrawn and five continued racing but won’t be ranked.

A helicopter Friday removed a team from Sacajawea Peak in Gallatin County after one member suffered a leg injury and could not continue.

The race involves running, cycling, kayaking, climbing, rappelling and swimming.

Team Nike’s captain is Mike Kloser of Vail, Colo.
