An 18-year-old from Elizabeth was killed early today when he drove off the road into a fence and trees near Kiowa.
Jesse Kitchen was driving a 1991 Toyota Camry east on Elbert County Road 166 when he drove off the left side of the road at about 6:30 a.m., according to the state patrol.
Kitchen was wearing a seatbelt, and troopers don’t think alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash.
