Fort Carson officials are investigating a car crash early Sunday that killed a soldier and left two others injured.
The accident involved a chase by military police that apparently never left the Fort Carson compound.
Fort Carson spokeswoman Dee McNutt confirmed the soldier’s death and the involvement of military police, but did not provide other details, saying the crash was still under investigation.
Colorado Springs police and the state patrol were called to assist after the crash at about 3:30 a.m.
The soldier has not been identified.
