A 22-year-old homicide victim was found shot in a car late last night, authorities say.
Matthew Webb was found in front of a house at 1802 S. Nevada Ave. at about 11:15 p.m., said Lt. Skip Arms of the Colorado Springs Police Department.
Detectives believe the murder is linked to an earlier “shots fired” call that came from the Copper Chase Apartments at 2041 Southgate Road.
Shots rang out at the apartment complex at 11:09 p.m., Arms said.
