If you’re a young person with an interest in the outdoors, or want to develop it, things don’t get much better than the free Kids Day on July 12 at Bass Pro Shops.
The 10 a.m.-5 p.m. family event features archery and air rifle ranges, a fish pond, fly-tying and a variety of participation events. Sponsors include the National Wild Turkey Federation, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Colorado Bowhunters Association, Denver Fire Department, Cherry Creek Anglers Trout Unlimited, Colorado Bassmasters, Club 5280, Colorado Wildlife Federation and 4-H Shooting Sports.
