EUGENE, Ore.—University of Colorado track star Jenny Barringer has qualified for the Olympics in Beijing after finishing third in the 3,000 steeplechase trials.

Finishing ahead of Barringer Thursday night were Anna Willard and Lindsey Anderson. Willard set a U.S. steeplechase record by finishing the race in 9 minutes, 27.59 seconds. Barringer finished at 9:33.11.
