GREELEY, Colo.—A Kmart spokeswoman says the company’s sole store in Greeley will close on Sept. 28 for “business reasons.”

The spokeswoman, Kim Freely, declined to elaborate when she announced the closure Thursday.

The store’s 180 employees were told on Wednesday. Freely says eligible workers will be offered severance packages.

Kmart stores are operated by Sears Holdings Co., which also operates Sears stores.
