After five previous convictions for indecent exposure, Timothy Eduard Schreiber, 48, of Arvada was given the maximum sentence of 18 months in state prison today.

Schreiber has one previous conviction for attempted sexual assault of a child in Jefferson County in 2000. He was sentenced to four and half years and prison and was classified a sexually violent predator. He has been a register sex offender since 1994, after his first conviction for indecent exposure.

District Judge Lily Oeffler sentenced Schreiber Monday after a jury convicted him in April for exposing himself to customers of a business in Wheat Ridge. He also was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

With credit for the 471 days Schreiber already has served in the Jefferson County jail, he could be eligible for parole in as little as two months and his parole would be one year, according to the District Attorney’s office.
