AVON, Colo.—Over 3,000 cyclists are expected to participate in the Triple Bypass bike race.
Saturday’s ride takes riders over three mountain passes from Evergreen to Avon. The course is 120 miles long and there’s a 10,000 foot elevation gain.
The ride is limited to 3,500 riders and registration closed Jan. 11, the earliest the race has ever filled up. It’s considered one of the biggest recreational cycling events in the country.
