LOS ANGELES — The Wall Street Journal will raise its newsstand price 50 cents to $2 starting July 28 to reflect new content and higher costs. The change comes after an editorial shuffle following the $5 billion acquisition of Dow Jones by News Corp. The media conglomerate run by Rupert Murdoch has moved quickly to reshape The Journal, adding more political news and reorganizing the paper in a drive to compete more aggressively with The New York Times. The Journal had an average daily circulation of 2,069,463 in the six months ended in March, according to the Audit Bureau of Circulations. The Associated Press
