NASCAR’s Sprint Cup Series leader is pulling away from the field. Just past the season’s halfway point, Kyle Busch has seven victories through 19 races, including back-to-back wins at Daytona Speedway two weeks ago and at Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Ill., last week. The 23-year-old Busch is only the 17th driver in stock car history to reach the seven-win mark in the season’s first 19 races. And 11 of those 17 drivers went on to win the series title that year. “I really don’t believe how good things are going,” Busch said last week. “It’s just been a phenomenal year. Something just so special.”
