The July 24 traffic-ticket arraignment for Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall was postponed to Aug. 12, Denver County Court records show, eliminating a schedule conflict Marshall might have encountered. July 24 is the date the Broncos are scheduled to report to training camp, with first workouts beginning July 25.
Marshall was ticketed June 12 for making an illegal lane change. He was stopped at 5:25 p.m. on northbound Interstate 25 between Broadway and Santa Fe Drive.
He was also ticketed for not having his driver’s license or proof of insurance, court documents say.
Police pulled Marshall over after he allegedly drove his black Hummer H2 onto the shoulder of I-25 to pass two cars, according to a copy of the traffic ticket.
Marshall has had a series of arrests and citations dating to Oct. 31, 2004 for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, domestic violence and drunken driving.
He was arrested for drunken driving and driving the wrong way on a one-way street last Oct. 22 in Denver. An arraignment in that case is scheduled Aug. 6.
