UMB Financial Corp. said Wednesday it has agreed to purchase the Citadel Bank in Colorado Springs for an undisclosed amount of cash and will merge it into UMB Bank Colorado.
Citadel had $89 million in assets and deposits of $81.9 million as of March 31. The purchase will increase the Kansas City bank’s deposits in Colorado Springs to about $235 million.
