NEW YORK — Billy Crystal is going to help build the Sept. 11 memorial. The 60-year-old actor was named Thursday to the board of directors of the National September 11 Memorial & Museum.
Crystal becomes the 45th member of the board, joining “Analyze This” co-star Robert De Niro. Crystal participated in a benefit concert for the city a month after the 2001 terrorist attacks.
The foundation has raised more than $350 million privately to build the memorial.
