An Evans woman was killed early this morning in a one-car accident.

Autumn Jansen, 20, was driving a 1996 BMW 325i eastbound on Isabelle Road about one mile west of Highway 287 about 2:55 a.m. when she lost control, the Colorado State Patrol said in a news release.

Jansen drover of the right side of the road, hit a construction barrel, overcorrected and ran off the left side of the road. The car rolled at least three times and Jansen, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

her 20-year-old female passenger was belted in and received “moderate injuries and was treated at Good Samaritan hospital,” the CSP said.

Alcohol and or drugs are suspected to have contributed to the crash.
