FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Police said a man pointed a gun at his former girlfriend then fired a shot in the air before abducting her from a Dollar Tree store parking lot.
Fort Collins police were searching for 32-year-old Travis Kess, the suspect in Saturday night’s kidnapping of 45-year-old Rosanna Martinez. Police said Kess and Martinez had been in a relationship that ended about eight months ago.
Martinez was abucted as she got into a co-worker’s car after getting off from work. Martinez’s co-worker was not harmed and called 911.
Police were searching for a 1990s Jeep Cherokee with Colorado license plate FHX-5828. Police fear that Kess, a self-described outdoorsman, may have taken Martinez to a rural area.
