Golden-based Blue Sun Biodiesel has earned a $41,958 ACRE grant from the state of Colorado to commercialize a nonfood energy crop, camelina, for use in biodiesel.
The grant will be used to develop camelina farming practices. Blue Sun will add an additional $12,910 for the research.
