A 26-year-old man is being held in the stabbing death of a 20-year-old woman.
Rayner Ramarui and Melissa Lewandowski lived in the same apartment building at one time and investigators are trying to gather more information about a relationship, if any, between the two, Englewood police said.
On Saturday, at about 5 p.m., Denver police contacted a man who gave them “information regarding the welfare” of a woman in an apartment at 3300 S. Clarkson St., Englewood police said.
Englewood officers checked the apartment and found Lewandowski’s body. She had been stabbed multiple times, according to the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office.
