A man is dead following a shooting that erupted early this morning over a parking dispute at the 3200 block of Conejos Place, authorities say.
The name of the victim, who was found lying between two cars in an alley behind the street, has not been released.
Police were called to the shooting at 12:53 a.m. and found the man with a bullet wound in the upper body, said Sharon Hahn, Denver police spokeswoman.
An argument over parking escalated into a fight involving several people and ultimately in the shooting, Hahn said.
Police are trying to identify the suspect or suspects responsible for the shooting, she said.
