PUC natural-gas forum offers tips on heating bills

The Colorado Public Utilities Commission hosts an informational meeting on natural-gas prices at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at 1560 Broadway, Suite 250. The meeting will focus on gas-price forecasts for the coming heating season and steps consumers can take to prepare for the expected higher bills.

The PUC also conducts a one- day meeting at 9 a.m. Thursday on climate change and carbon regulation in the Old Supreme Court Chambers at the state Capitol. Information: www.dora.state.co.us
