A woman kidnapped eight days earlier in Fort Collins turned up unharmed tonight at the home of her alleged kidnapper’s parents in Loveland.
Travis John Kness, 32, disappeared again after he left his ex-girlfriend, Rosanna Martinez, 45, with his parents at about 7:20 p.m.
Kness abducted the woman at gunpoint as she was getting off work at the Dollar Tree store on College Avenue in Fort Collins on July 19.
Police said Martinez was a passenger in a co-worker’s car, when Kness pulled up along side it in the store’s parking lot, fired a shot in the air and ordered Martinez into his late-1990s white Jeep Grand Cherokee.
The two stopped dating about eight months ago, police have said.
