A Conifer man was injured yesterday when he rolled his ATV while riding in Lefthand Canyon.
The 46-year-old man was riding with his daughter and son-in-law on U.S. Forest Service Road 286C about 3:00 p.m., the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release. He was climbing a steep portion of the trail when the accident happened.
The driver of a 4×4 saw what happened and called for help on his cell phone while the daughter and son-in-law helped their father until rescuers arrived.
The man was taken out of the canyon in a “wheeled rescue litter” and taken by ambulance to Boulder Community Hospital.
