MESA COUNTY — Sean Despain, 21, of Clifton was killed this morning when he ran a red light on Mesa County Road 32 and hit a car, according to the Colorado State Patrol.
Despain was rushed to St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction, where he died. He was wearing a helmet but succumbed to multiple injuries, troopers said.
Despain’s motorcycle hit the passenger side of a Chrysler PT Cruiser driven by Marion Martinez, 47, of Clifton, who was not injured.
