DENVER—Qwest Communications is now offering Verizon Wireless services to all new customers in its residential service area.
Denver-based Qwest said in May that it would stop reselling Sprint Nextel Corp.’s wireless service and move its subscribers to Verizon’s network under a five-year agreement. Qwest had contributed about 824,000 subscribers to Sprint’s total of 53.8 million at the end of last year.
Qwest says it will begin contacting existing Qwest Wireless customers soon with Verizon Wireless calling plan recommendations.
