Gunshots fired into two Longmont homes are likely connected and police are looking for a suspect, or suspects, in the case.

Blasts from a shotgun hit a home in the 100 block of St. Clair Avenue in the early morning hours Saturday, and minutes later shotgun fire sprayed at home in the 1500 block of Lashley Street, Longmont Police said in a press release.

No one was injured in the shootings, but one resident was asleep when gunfire went through a window just above the bed, police said.

Several shots were fired at the home on St. Clair Street, police said.

Anyone with information on the incidents is asked to call Longmont police at 303 651-8516 or Northern Colorado Crime Stoppers at 1 800 222-TIPS (8477).

Tipsters can remain anonymous and a cash reward of up to $1,000 is possible for information leading to and arrest or filing of charges.
