Tony’s Market will open its fourth and largest specialty-foods market at 950 Broadway early next year, bringing 50 new jobs to the area.
The Denver Office of Economic Development announced Wednesday that it approved a loan to finance a portion of the costs associated with the opening the store.
“The city and county of Denver is pleased to play a critical role in helping Tony’s Market expand into our central business district,” said OED executive director Andre Pettigrew. The new store will occupy about 15,000 square feet on the first floor of 950 Broadway, which formerly housed a Planned Parenthood office.
