University Physicians Inc. closed on the $37 million sale of its administrative-office building to the Department of Veterans Affairs on Tuesday. The building sits on roughly 3.1 acres on East Colfax Avenue at Potomac Street adjacent to the An schutz Medical Campus in Aurora. It was constructed in 2004 and contains 127,000 square feet.
UPI will lease the building and its parking lot back from the VA until it completes a new building on a 2.7-acre site it has under contract from the Fitzsimons Redevelopment Authority at Montview Boulevard and Victor Street.
