Two Aurora men were arrested early today on allegations they broke into at least 15 cars in the parking lot of a Highland Ranch apartment complex.

Douglas County Sheriff’s deputies got the call from the Copper Canyon Apartments at 1350 E. County Line Rd. at 2:51 a.m., the sheriff’s office said in a news release.

Deputies talked to witnesses who described two men breaking into cars. The witness also described their vehicle.

Deputies spotted the vehicle and the two men. Inside the vehicle they found items stolen from the cars in the parking lot.

Vincente Solorzano, 18, and Jose Casillas, 20, were arrested and charged with trespassing and felony theft, among other charges.
