FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Authorities say a second person has died after a lightning strike last week on the Colorado State University campus.
Authorities say 33-year-old Marc Vernon Richard died Wednesday from the Aug. 24 lightning near the forestry building.
Also killed was 35-year-old doctoral student William John Szlemko.
Szlemko died shortly after the lightning. Richard had been in intensive care.
