WILMINGTON, Del. — SemGroup LP, the oil transporter pushed into bankruptcy by $2.4 billion in energy- trading losses, received interim court permission to borrow as much as $150 million to keep operating while it prepares to sell its assets.

SemGroup is building a 12-inch pipeline from Platte ville to storage terminals in Cushing, Okla.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Brendan Linehan Shannon approved the company’s request for the financing Tuesday.
