GEARHART, Ore.—Federal investigators are now looking for answers as to what caused a small plane to crash into a house in Oregon, killing two adults and three children.
Twelve-year-old Hesam Farrar Masoudi and 8-year-old Grace Masoudi of Denver were killed when the plane slammed into a fogbound coastal home Monday. Ten-year-old Julia Reimann of Beaverton, Ore., was also killed, as were pilot Jason Ketchson and passenger Frank Toohey.
A mother and two more children escaped, but were burned.
The pilot had just taken off on a flight from Seaside to Klamath Falls when the crash occurred.
Denver Health Medical Center cardiologist Dr. Frederick Masoudi, and his wife, Dr. Marie Johnson-Masoudi, had been taking a walk when the plane crashed.
