1 p.m. — 911 calls received, with reports of flames 5- to 10-feet high; mutual aid request

1:15 p.m. — Colorado State Forest Service on the scene; other agencies begin to activate

1:45 p.m. — First reverse-911 calls to alert residents of fire

2:45 p.m. — West Metro fire command is told aerial support is available, winds prohibit use

3:19 p.m. — Significant shift in the wind atop the mountain

3:22 p.m. — Fire makes significant run to the north

3:53 p.m. — Second reverse-911 calls made

4:10 p.m. — Third reverse-911 calls

4:40 p.m. — Homes on north side at biggest threat

5:33 p.m. to 6:40 p.m. — Aerial drops

5:35 p.m. — Fire approaching homes on east side

6 p.m. — Wind gusts reported

6:30 p.m. — Helicopter begins dropping water on fire

6:43 p.m. — Fourth reverse-911 call made telling residents near West Exposition Avenue and Fig Street to evacuate

6:50 p.m. — Small amount of active fire

7 p.m. — Fire under control; crews start mopup

7:30 p.m. — Residents on the northwest side allowed to go home

10:10 p.m. — Fire command terminated; crews check hot spots through the night
