BOULDER — NextFoods has raised $16 million from investors including a firm co-founded by Starbucks Corp. chief executive Howard Schultz.
Boulder-based NextFoods announced the investment by Seattle-based Maveron LLC and others Wednesday.
NextFoods was formed by WhiteWave Inc. founder Steve Demos and former WhiteWave executive Todd Beckman. Its GoodBelly probiotic fruit drinks have so-called “friendly” bacteria.
