A 22-year-old El Paso County man is suspected of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl and authorities fear there may be more victims in the area.
Scott Steinbruck was arrested Wednesday in the 8100 block of Piute Road where several adults were confronting him over a sexual assault of a 12-year-old girl, police said.
Police said Steinbruck gave alcohol and cigarettes to the 12-year-old and he allowed two other children, an 11-year-old and another 12-year-old, to watch the assault.
Steinbruck lives in the same area as the girl and investigators fear more children in the neighborhood may be victims.
Steinbruck faces possible charges of sexual assault on a child in a pattern of abuse, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and attempted sexual assault on a child.
He is being held on $25,000 bond at the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center.
