U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at Denver International Airport nabbed an international drug figure about three weeks ago, the agency announced Thursday.

Rodriguez Narez, 32, was listed as “armed and dangerous” on the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency’s most-wanted list. He is a suspected member of the Dario drug-trafficking organization.

Narez is a U.S. citizen. His flight to Denver had orginated in Mexico when he was arrested on July 20, according to Customs and Border Protection. He used his own name, prompting agents to detain him.

Narez was turned over to U.S. Marshals for extradition to Sioux Falls, S.D., his last known address, where federal drug charges are pending against him.
