FLORENCE, Ariz. — A sport utility vehicle packed with suspected illegal immigrants flipped southeast of Phoenix, killing at least nine people Thursday, authorities said.
The SUV that crashed on Arizona 79 about 80 miles southeast of Phoenix had 19 people aboard, said Department of Public Safety spokesman Bart Graves. The 10 other occupants were injured.
