GOLDEN — The driver of the getaway car in last summer’s robbery and murder at an Arvada Burger King was sentenced Thursday to life in prison without possibility of parole.
Lindell Mark Sample, 19, is the last of five men to be sentenced in connection with the July 15, 2007, death of cook Celia Meza at West 64th Avenue and Ward Road.
Thomas Johns, 18, the so-called mastermind, and trigger man Anthony Lowe, 22, and Anthony Joe Cole, 24, were sentenced last month to life in prison plus 42 years.
The “inside man,” night manager Anthony Cole, testified against the others in exchange for a 48-year sentence.
