The search continues for a Frisco man who fell from a boat Wednesday night and disappeared in Dillon Reservoir.
Adam G. Brown, 26, was with two other men who rented a boat at the Frisco Marina on Wednesday, then went to the Tiki Bar at the Dillon Marina. They were returning to Frisco Marina in the boat when Brown fell out and disappeared, said Paulette Horr, spokeswoman for the Summit County Sheriff’s Office.
The pair still in the boat immediately turned around and searched for but could not find Brown, she said.
Kevin Lukanski, 35, of Frisco was arrested at the Frisco Marina for investigation of being intoxicated while operating a boat, said Horr.
He was released on a $1,000 bond shortly after his arrest.
Initially, sheriff’s deputies and the Summit County Water Rescue Team searched near Sentinel Island.
Today, Colorado State Park rangers and a boat equipped with a side-scan sonar system joined the search. The sonar is capable of searching at deep depths with more clarity than the system previously used. Search dogs also will be searching the shoreline.
