DENVER—A non-injury accident in Denver quickly turned into a fatal crash Monday after an occupant of one of the vehicles was struck and killed along a major thoroughfare.
It happened on Sixth Avenue about 8:25 a.m., after the road had reopened following an earlier suicide.
Denver Police Department spokesman Det. John White says three vehicles collided, prompting the occupants to get out and check for damage.
A fourth vehicle struck one of the others, which then hit a man surveying the original crash.
The man’s name has not been released.
Two other people were taken to a hospital with unknown injuries.
